We Survived Christmas
Every year I think I'll break under the pressure, and every year I get angry that I allow myself to feel that way. After anger is guilt...guilt for being angry. LOL. WAY too many negative emotions for what is supposed to be such a lovely time.
Oh well. We survived

@christao408 - Thank you! A very Happy New Years to you and yours also :) I think that if the theme of Christmas was dress-up, rather than gift giving, it would be much easier to deal with, lol. I just always feel inadequate trying to make all the kids happy at Christmas. We have started buying them (the older ones) just one much wanted thing each - under 200.00 , and stocking stuffers. The two little ones are very easy to excite even on a small budget. Amazing how much they love simple things like hotwheels cars, crayons etc.
Then, what we lack in finances, I try to make up for with festive decor, haha... and really it seems to do the trick but still knocks me out in the process.
